"Well, you already have someone who accepts you. I can be your friend. Like people usually attract like people," Fenrir said, not realizing that Jay was an anthro like himself.

Meryll looked around the place silently, then shivered when she noticed that she wasn't alone. The horse anthro just continued to calm herself, like always, and looked up at the sky, pretending to be alone, imagining a place where things were better and everyone was treated fairly. A place she didn't have to wear what looked like shoes.

'Lông,' Nico said. 'It's time. You have some in mind, yes? I'll help you round 'em up, if you want.'
'Thanks,' Jay said. He heard the sound of large, leathery wings and wondered what had made the noise.
((That's okay, Hyruu.))

Meryll, after a few minutes of imagination, snapped out of her dreams. She kind of stared ahead, phased for a moment, then snapped back into reality quickly. She sighed, knowing this was every day in a nutshell.

Lông almost jumped on his feet as Nico spoke, surprised. "Nico ! I told you a hundred times not to come when I was at school !" he told the Anthro. Hopefully Nico had been cautious enough to hide his features, this time. However, there still was some work more to do for the common sense as telling that right in front of a human wasn't the smartest idea ever. "Oh well, since you're there... Hyruu, that's Nico, an old friend of mine. Nico, that's Hyruu, one of my classmates." he introduced the two. All he had to hope was that Nico would actually understand the mistake he had made and not insist on the topic.
And indeed, it didn't get unnoticed. After having been with Lông for a few years, he perfectly knew when he wanted to avoid a topic he wasn't at ease on, and now clearly was one of those moments. The human just made like he didn't hear anything, hoping he would get an hint on what was going on. 'It's time', 'some in mind', 'round them up'... It wasn't exactly the kind of words you were hearing everyday ! "Hi Nico, nice to meet you." he greeted the Anthro.
Loque headed back in the forest, having seen enough for the day. It was a chance there was this point of view there, as it was ideal to spy on the human town and most notably the school. Or at least he guessed it was one. What kind of place could have more young people than adults apart from schools ? And surprisingly, even from that far, it wasn't exactly hard to guess there were Anthros among them. All he had to do was to spot the ones wearing enough clothes for him not to be able to see their heads, or the ones that were isolating themselves from the rest of the humans. With such a predictable attitude, it was a miracle humans didn't know about the Anthros... His main concern now was to come up with a plan to get some of them. The main problem being he had to avoid being seen at all costs. Tomorrow he would try to spy closer from the building, maybe he would find an idea there.

Fenrir could sense Jay's confusion, "What's wrong?" He asked, looking around at the courtyard.

Meryll lay down and used her finger to trace imaginary pictures in the sky. She could smell the grass vividly, and she enjoyed the scent immensely. She looked around to see if anyone was watching, then picked a few blades and chewed on them in her mouth. Unfortunately, a few people saw her. "What are you doing, freak?" they said. "Uh.... nothing at all," she said shakily and silent. The people continued to call her a freak, then started shoving grass down her throat forcefully. "How I wished I'd never did that...." she thought sorrowfully. She started to run away, but due to her clumsiness tripped a few metres away. The bullies were in pursuit. She started to cry, her last defence mechanism.

((Do you mind if I cut in, Ruby? C:>))
Audrey knew the schools didn't mix, but when she heard cries and saw a poor kid fallen over in the grass, her head snapped out of her notebook and she was suddenly attentive. Bullies. she started to hiss, then caught herself before anyone could stare at her for sounding like a cat. She removed her reading glasses and shoved them in her pocket, then stood leaving her notebook where it was, if anyone had the nerve to pick it up and read it she could easily lie about what as hiding in it's covers. She loped easily over to the defenseless kid, and hissed a the bullies, uncaring of what they thought. "Hey! Back off!" she snarled, and her tail almost lashed angrily, but she made it subside to an agitated twitch. the kids could hear her hiss, but never her tail.

Fenrir heard someone crying from not far away from them. he looked over and saw what was going on, "Be right back Jay," He said and got up. Jay probably could hear why Fenrir had to go. Kids really are so cruel. He didn't recognize the other person there, but he did know the other people including poor clumsy Meryll. He started walking over.

Nico shrugged off his mistake. 'Nice to meet you,' he said to the human. Turning back to Lông, he said, 'You know what to do.' With that, the dragon anthro walked off.
'It's nothing,' Jay said, thinking he was hearing things. He nodded when Fenrir left to go confront the bullies. Then, in a spilt second decision, he got up and followed Fenrir.
Luna had heard large wing beats and looked in the direction. She didn't see anything, though, truth be told, she wasn't really trying. If she was, she would've saw what had made the noise. Instead she looked along the edge of the trees. She saw a few guys standing next to each other not that far from her and started to watch them. They looked suspicious. One of them walked off, but she continued watching the other two, curious.
Scorpio heard someone crying, and, licking his lips, he walked over. His eyes sparkled in delight.

Audrey noticed she was attracting attention. Maybe it wasn't her. Maybe it was the fact that the poor girl was crying. she knelt down to help her to her feet, glaring at the bullies and hissing to keep them at bay if they hadn't scattered yet. they were out of her mind now as she helped the girl up. then she noticed a teacher approaching and stepped back. This isn't your place, Audrey, she warned herself ans more humans began approaching. That's when she caught a whiff of something... not human. She couldn't place where it was coming from, however.

Scorpio growled delightedly to himself. He had reached the crying girl, and was ready to strike- But no, there was a teacher. He snarled quietly and took a few steps back.

As Audrey was helping her up, she caught something out of the corner of her eye moving silently away in a disappointed manner. The smell had faded, and she thought she had heard a noise much like the one she made when she hissed. Another anthro. She wasn't alone. "Are you alright?" She asked the girl.

Lông almost facepalmed at Nico's words. He really couldn't have found a way to say that without having to sound like a conspirator ? No wonder Hyruu was looking at him with this intrigued look. The Anthro was feeling like the human perfectly knew he wouldn't answer to any question without being evasive. Knowing Hyruu, Lông was ready to bet he would instead be on the look of any hint to what happened, and he was pretty good at that game ! "Does he have the same illness than you ?" the human asked. Lông refrained from biting his lip. One thing was sure, when Hyruu was asking something it always was right where it hurt at most. That time he would have hard time giving him a satisfying answer.

Luna didn't jump down and confront the two older guys quite yet. She kept watching them. She perked her ears, glad the shadows hid them.
Scorpio glanced at Amy and glared.

(I don't mind at all!)
Meryll silently said, "I'm okay now... thankyou...." She stood there and smiled warmly. She brushed the dust off and spat out clumps of dirt that had also been shoved in her mouth along with the grass. She realigned her bandanna and made herself look orderly again. Other than the grass and dirt stains, she looked basically the same as before.

There sure were a lot of things going on today, weren't there. Adults helping bullied children, misconceptions in the minds who didn't understand, and what seemed like a conspiracy. It could quite possibly involve her and her kind. After such thoughts had subsided, Amy went back to eating small chunks of raw meat. Such things were all she could eat due to her feline diet. Though, while she ate in peace, she felt the piercing glare of another. She quickly put down her food, and turned her head to see who it was. From how he smelled, it was a mongrel which missed its meal and was now targeting something else. She stared at him, waiting for him to do something.

Fenrir walked up to the bullies, "You guys. You should know better than to bully others. What would your family say?" He said in an unusual authoritative tone that he rarely ever uses around humans. It's usually enough to frighten humans. Anthro's not so much, "Go to the principal's office and tell him what you did, and say you're sorry to Meryll before you go," He commanded. The bullies muttered an apology, more afraid of Fenrir than sorry for what they did. They then ran towards the building. Fenrir relaxed slightly and went over to Meryll, "Are you okay? Do you want to go get cleaned up?" He asked her. It wasn't right for the poor girl to have to be bullied like this.

Audrey smiled at the girl, Meryll before fleeing back to her spot in the sun. Thankfully, her notebook was where she left it, untouched. The teacher had a handle on things now... it was as if Audrey didn't exist to anyone now. Instantly they had forgotten about the odd young adult barging in to save the weak. She didn't mind being ignored. It was how things always were.

Meryll said to the Fenrir happily, "I'm okay now... that girl helped me as well... and I've already done as much as I can do now to clean myself up... but I wouldn't mind a breath mint..." She could still taste the dark dirt in her mouth, giving her the feeling to throw up right now. She kept herself calm and collected.
