Fenrir looked at the college student as she went off, "That was very kind of her," He said. He reached into his pocket and took out a pack of mints, "Here Meryll," He said, handing it to her, "You sure you wouldn't want to go get a change of clothes?" He questioned again. Fenrir always showed concern for his students, unless they were being douchebags. Meryll wasn't one of those students he had learned, thankfully.

Meryll took the mints, then said, "No thankyou, I'm okay in the ones I have on.... I'd rather not get into a clean set of clothes that I know are going to get dirty again. But thanks for asking." She started chewing on one of the mints, glad to get the taste of fresh dirt out of her mouth. She gave back the rest of the mints. "Thankyou very much for the mints though," she said, "Dirt does not taste good one bit."

Jay, satisfied everything was fine now, turned away. He heard the light footsteps of Audrey and followed her. 'That was nice of you for helping that girl,' he said.
Scorpio felt someone's gaze and looked over to see Amy. He glared at her. She smelled of blood and cat. Maybe she was like him? No way to tell around these filthy humans, he thought.

Audrey's ears nearly pricked in surprise. If it hadn't been for her careful training of her animal parts to act normal, they would have. Her head whipped towards the speaker and she noticed a kid. She smiled at him and dipped her head, although she could see his eyes were milky, marking him as blind. "I never give up a chance to stand up for the weak." She told him. While her eyes were downcast, she noticed his bird-like feet and gave a slight start. So, I'm really not all alone after all...

Jay felt her movement. Did she see my feet? he wondered. Usually my blank stare holds them in place... 'Mind if I sit?' he asked.

Audrey smiled again before realizing she could be glaring venomously at him and he wouldn't have the slightest idea. "Sure." She responded in a friendly voice. It might be nice to talk to another anthro, she thought.

'Thanks.' Jay sat dowwn in the grass next to Audrey. 'What were you doing?' he asked. He had felt that she'd picked something up before he walked over. 'Homework?'

"Essay." Audrey replied quickly, then placed the notebook on her lap. "Not very exiting." she said with a shrug. Her usual excuse for carrying her notebook around.

By her quick response, which seemed almost practiced, Jay suspected she wasn't telling the whole truth. 'Sounds boring.' But, he didn't press the topic.

The person who smelled of canine blood glared at Amy. She hated situations such as these, but her unruly habit of making eye-contact with others caused them to happen quite often. And, as he did smell inhuman, she refused to take her eyes off him. Such a thing could cause her harm, and she would not allow that to happen. Not only did she hate the situation at hand, she also felt intrigued by him. If he truly was what he smelled like, then she would indeed not be on her own. Though she guessed such a thing was already proven by the boy from earlier who had a bird's feet.

"I don't suppose it does," Fenrir said, pocketing the mints once more. Meryll has been hiding her anthro physique much like Fenrir has been, so they thought each other were human, "What were you doing for them to bully you?" He asked. More often than not, bullying happens when they see someone do something unusual.

"I... I..." she stuttered, she might as well tell the truth to the teacher, then silently mumbled, "I was snacking on the grass."

Jay's sensitive ears caught Meryll's words. At first he was holding back a laugh, but then he started thinking. Maybe she's like me? But, birds don't eat grass. Maybe another type of animal anthro, then? What snack on grass...Horses and their relatives, cows, things like that, he thought.
Nico flew back to the dragon caves. When he got there, he nodded to Sarin and Ignitus.

Fenrir was a little surprised at that. One of his students eats grass...and considers it snacking? He thought about it, and came to the same conclusion as Jay had. Meryll just might be an anthro. Not a dragon one like himself, but an animal one of some kind. He decided to risk his teaching career, unusual for him since he never gambles. He walked over and sat next to her, "It's alright. Here, sit next to me for a bit," he said. He planned to tell Meryll that she wasn't the only anthro in school.

"But what am I going to tell him now ?" Lông mentally swore he would gut Nico next time they would meet. He perfectly knew Hyruu already was skeptic about that illness he was pretending to have, since he only was supposed to go out in case of necessity with this kind of illness and instead the Anthro was spending every lunch time outside. And now, Nico was popping out of nowhere and made all this sound like a conspiracy ! Yeah, now he really was in a bad situation. Especially since Hyruu began asking if Nico also was ill. Knowing the human, that was meaning he perfectly knew he was lying. "Erm, that's a similar disease yeah." Lông replied to the human, trying to be evasive. Hyruu sighed, distractedly looking at what was happening in the park. Apparently, someone got bullied and one of his former teacher came to the rescue. "I suppose I don't learn you anything if I say I'm not believing you ?" he just said. Ouch. That was direct. "... Not really, sadly. Remember me to gut Nico next time I meet him." Lông answered. "Lông... We've been friends for several years now. The least of the things would be that you stop lying to me. How am I supposed to trust you if you don't stop ?" Surprised by this demand, the Anthro looked at the human and their looks crossed. Once again, Hyruu's eyes were having that shine they were having when he was determined to find out what was true. Lông sighed and break the eye contact. "Some things... are better kept hidden." he tried to evade again. "Don't begin with this again ! I perfectly know what you're doing there !" Hyruu frowned. "I start to be a bit sick of all this. Don't I deserve to know ?"
At his surprise, however, Lông sarcastically chuckled at that comment. "If you deserve to know ? I'm just avoiding to crush your perception of the world, to destroy what you were thinking you knew, and to bring you in a fight for which you're not prepared. It would harm and threaten you more than anything. And be glad I trust you enough to remove the 'threaten everyone I know' item from the list." Hyruu suddenly stopped being on the offensive with his questions. What Lông said made absolutely no sense ! What could be big enough to completely change his perception of the world ? "You're still trying to evade there..." he told his friend. Lông shook his head. "I'm not. For once I've been totally sincere, and you perfectly know it. Trust me, Hyruu... You wouldn't want to be brought into all this." Hyruu was about to answer, but... Lông was right. He hadn't been lying on that one. "... I just can't leave all this without an answer, though." the human replied. Lông suddenly gave him a glare that froze him. It was the first time Hyruu was seeing such a glare. It was almost... inhuman. "That's a silly decision, Hyruu. You want to know ? Okay, try to come to my flat this evening. But be warned, I won't be tender with you."
What was he even suggesting ? He couldn't tell Hyruu anything about the Anthros. The Anthro was feeling slightly bad about what he was doing. He knew Hyruu won't be able to reach his flat, since he was living in the least secure part of the town. "But... please, don't force me to teach you a lesson." he added. "Don't let your curiosity get the best of you." An uncomfortable silence set between the two friends. Sadly, the Anthro perfectly knew his words won't manage to discourage the human.

Scorpio kept glaring at Amy. Maybe it was her feline scent, maybe it was because she kept staring at him. He wasn't entirely sure.

Maybe this would become one of the most idiotic things I would ever do, but I honestly didn't care. All I really wanted to do was approach him. I had to, or the staring would never end. So that's what I did. I stood up and walked over to him, leaving my things on my bench. My ears which were already curved back as to hide them under my hood, were truly held back. The tension and aggression in the air just made me want to snarl at him. A growl rumbled deep in my throat. I was prepared to attack him if necessary, but I truly did not wish for such a thing to arise. I simply wanted to ask him why he was glaring at me.

"Uh.... okay, I guess," Maeryll said, sitting beside the teacher. She began to worry that she had done something wrong, or she was going to be lectured, or the like. She wished she could just run away from reality... but she'd probably trip in the progress.

Fenrir inhaled and exhaled slowly before looking at Meryll, "Don't tell anyone," He said quietly to her, then pulled up one of his sleeves to show her the black scales that had spread along his arms, "I think you're the same as me, but a different animal," He said softly. He then waited for her reaction.

She gasped, and replied silently, "... at least I now know I'm not the only one..." She was not afraid to reveal her identity to another anthro, especially the teacher. It was nice... to know she wasn't alone at this school. She partly pulled off her fake shoe to reveal one of her hooves. "It's because I don't actually have feet... that I've always been clumsy. There's a reason humans have toes," She said softly, looking down, "I promise not to tell anybody, as long as my secret is kept too..."
