Long ago, two gods named Arceus and Fanglongmon discovered each other. The two spoke for a while, but found the challenge of fighting each other irresistible. They decided that they needed to fight in a place that was not either of their worlds, lest they destroy a thousand lives each or more. They created a between-universe where they fought for years before deciding that they should each take a champion from their universe to fight for them- a Pikachu and an Agumon. The two fought to a draw, causing the two gods to come to a conclusion: they were evenly matched. The two congratulated each other and left the between-world with their champions.
But then, in the wake of their battle, a new being was created that was both Pokemon and Digimon, yet at the same time neither at all- a creature of unspeakable form and power that spread its evil into both worlds, sending them towards each other on a brutal collision course.
Noticing this, the gods intervened, making the worlds fluid so they could meld together as one, allowing both types of creatures to exist at once. The Digimon became living beings in the process, rather than packets of semi-sapient data. Landmarks and continents on both worlds were destroyed, while some were kept.
The two gods, exhausted from melding two worlds, encouraged their creatures to cooperate, and cooperate they did, summoning the most powerful creatures in their Universe to fight the evil creature, known as the PNDC (Pokemon nor Digimon Creature) who was destroyed by the onslaught of legendary beasts like the Weather Trio, Royal Knights, the Golem Trio (Or Regis if you prefer), the Four Great Dragons, and other groups of legenday monsters. Those legendary beings fell asleep after the fight, along with the two gods.
The creatures coexisted together, forming bonds with each other. However, things are beginning to decay. The world is not as vibrant as it should be, except in some places where it may be TOO vibrant.
An explanation arose when one of Arceus's plates and one of Fanglongmon's digicores were discovered- the gods weren't merely sleeping, they were in comas.
The creatures began to form guilds, for different purposes: Entertainment, riches, law enforcement, and of course, just plain fame. Then there are those with their own agendas.
The known Guilds are as follows:
The Justice Guild: Lead by Lina, with the title of "Spirit of Justice," who, annoyed by the incompetence of the police forces several years ago, made a team consisting of her trainer(NOT human, but rather another creature that taught her to fight.), best friend, and a mysterious acquaintance. They called themselves "Team Eastfire," and they took the law into their own "hands." They became successful to the point that they were able to form a guild that became the new police force- The Justice guild.
The Explorer Guild: Lead by [Insert Character here] A rich business tycoon who bought the right to make a guild, the Explorer guild is often misportrayed as being a society of greedy creatures who just want to squeeze more money out of everyone though they are already filthy rich. However, [Character] is actually quite generous and often gives money to charity, and while it is true that many Explorer Guild members do become rich, it is mostly due to the large salary given by [Character]. New recruits start at 20 G (Gold) per mission, and get more as they rank up. It is believed that some senior teams get at least 400 G per mission!
The Entertainer's Guild: This one is lead by [insert character here]. They started this guild a few years ago to help young creatures find their hidden comedic talents, As well as entertain others. While their guild seldom goes on adventures or hunts criminals, they make a good living off of just being themselves and being funny.
Crime Syndicate Des Gogil: A secret crime guild led by an unknown master. They meet in secret in new places all the time, supposedly having no permanent headquarters. They are a society of great secrecy who few know about, but their elite members can be found everywhere, even in other guilds, working in secret to gather intel or destroy them from the inside-out. They especially wish to dismantle the Justice Guild.
The Mystery Guild: Very little is known about them, their base is at a location unknown to outsiders, invite only by the founder, Luna the shiny Umbreon, to Pokemon and Digimon that have proven themselves worthy, and they help whoever needs it, appearing seemingly out of nowhere. They could have a secret agent in the Justice guild that tells them what the requests and such are.
Rogues: Rogues are teams that are not part of a guild. They often have their own agendas, for better or worse. Some rogue teams, however, do eventually join a guild- Or even make their own! Most guilds that exist came about when a team got so many members and so much money that they needed a complex building just to contain all the members- often enough to make 3 or more full teams of four!
RULES:
1. Follow all usual forum and RP Rules
2. Spelling and Grammar should be perfect or as close as you can manage.
3. If you are not sure how to spell something, type "(SP?)" next to the word
4. Pokemon and Digimon will be limited to four moves. (Any of a Digimon's moves from Digimon world Dawn/Dusk can be part of their moveset, as well as their signature moves)
5. No fully evolved Pokemon, Legendary Pokemon/Digimon, or Digimon above above the Rookie Level. All Pokemon must be in their most basic form (Minus "baby" Pokemon because baby pokemon suck. This means you can be Pikachu instead of Pichu or Chansey instead of Happiney. It does not mean you can be Charmeleon instead of Charmander, or Shelgon as opposed to Bagon, ETC) Digimon can be anywhere from Fresh (Baby) to Rookie (Child). We Recommend Rookie, since Fresh/In-training Digimon can't fight much (Exception: Guild leaders can be up to Champion/fully evolved. I will allow others to be le guild leaders- Hence the "[Insert Character Here]")
6. You WILL be able to evolve/Digivolve eventually, but please ask me/Luna about it first.
7. Anything Luna wants to add.
I will begin...
Lina the Haxorus eyed a lot of new recruits- a few had decided to join the Justice Guild today. She gave a smirk and pulled out a whip, cracking it loudly, "Alright, you newbies, listen up. My training is harsh, and will weed out the weakest of you in no time! You will be tested, tried, and probably injured, but if you can take the pain, then you'll be an elite member in no time. You'll go through the same training my sensei put me through, and more!" She said in here slight Japanese accent, "And remember, if you can't take the training... leave."

Jonah, Or "Wildcard was sleeping in his room when he was woken by the familiar sound of the Syndicate Boss' voice- "Wildcard. Arise."
Jonah sat up like a Vampire and smiled a great big creepy smile, "Boss?" He chimed, excited.
"Today, you will be paired with somebody. I'm tired of you sitting around and doing nothing."
"I can't wait to steal crap again!" He exclaimed.
"This time, try not to scare your partner away!"
"Ehehehehehe! No promises, sir!"

And Ricardo... well... he just joined the Explorer's Guild and was kind of napping in his room. He was even drooling just a little.
