Hello everybody. On October 1st DrA members visited the home page "dragonadopters.com" and found out that DragonAdopters had finally been shutdown after 4 years and 11 months of service. You can read more up on this and the events leading up to it here. I'll quote a specific part.
We were given 2 months to enjoy the site. Friends exchanged emails and links to membership pages of other online games they were playing, Flight Rising among them. Members kept tending to their dragons, spending as much time as they could, all the while some users decided to let their dragons go, too sad to see them go when the time came. Others collected screenshots and saved entire webpages so that they would never forget the dragons (and friends) that they had spent almost 5 years with.
Focusing on the underlined part of the quote, I caught wind on the forums that members were indeed collecting pictures, screenshots and other data about DragonAdopters before it finally shutdown for good. I got a copy of my dragonpage and other pages that caught my interest in both the game and forums, however I didn't really get much. I thought it would be a good idea if we could take what I have, as well as all other data that other members have collected, and store them in one central file so that past, present, and even future DragonAdopters members could see what things were like before DrA as we know it came to an end.
I will be collecting and managing the files personally. All a user needs to do is access the dropbox at the bottom of the page and upload their files.

[/i][/font][/ul]Instructions for uploading files.
In order to keep things nice and neat I ask that users please follow a few simple directions.
When uploading files I'll be asking you to provide a description. The box should pop up automatically when you attempt your upload. Here's what I ask of you specifically to include.
If your uploading 1 file.
When uploading files I'll be asking you to provide a description. The box should pop up automatically when you attempt your upload. Here's what I ask of you specifically to include.
If your uploading 1 file.
- Your DrA username.
- A description of what your uploading.
If your uploading more than 1 file.
For the sake of convenience users are allowed to upload more than one file at a time, however that would present a bit of a challenge when it comes to providing a proper description. In cases such as these, I ask that you include a text / notepad (not microsoft word pelase) file that follows the two instructions above. In the description all you need to say is "Description provided in file with upload".
Here's a quick example.
Files you have uploaded:
"Mydragonsfly on DragonAdopters" HTML webpage
"DragonAdopters Home" HTML webpage
"Krash dragonbar.png"
"Description.txt"
What you would say in the txt file:

Included in this upload is a copy of:
- My dragonpage
- The DragonAdopters home page
- A picture of Krash's dragon bar.
My username is Mydragonsfly
- My dragonpage
- The DragonAdopters home page
- A picture of Krash's dragon bar.
My username is Mydragonsfly
I'll try and update the downloadable files at least once a week. This is subject to change depending on how work, school, and internet related activities play out.
Hopefully people will find this of use.
